Gaseous samples (absorption in solutions, absorption on solid carriers, sampling facilitated with membranes) 3. Solid samples (drying, homogenization, dissolution, extraction/leaching, digestion, combustion) Most water samples analyzed with ion chromatography do not have complex matrices (drinking water, precipitation water, surface and underground water).
